Trainee - Business Administration

Glamorgan Spring Bay Council has a position vacant for an individual with aspirations to complete their Certificate III in Business Administration.  The role will primarily provide administrative services to the Regulatory Services Department.  The Regulatory Services Department is primarily responsible for Council compliance in the areas of planning, building, plumbing, environmental health, dog control and fire abatement.

The position will have an opportunity to learn the Bendigo Bank Agency which Council currently provides. Some involvement in other areas of Council such as reception, finance and executive support may also be required.

The successful applicant will be directly employed by Council for the duration of the Traineeship, nominally two years, in a full-time capacity under the terms and conditions of our Enterprise Agreement.  The appointee will have the opportunity to contribute to decisions about the training plan, the registered training organisation and the preferred assessment method.

Triabunna Port and Marina Complex Management – Contract for Service

Glamorgan Spring Bay Council own the Triabunna port and marina complex and an opportunity exists for a contract to manage their operations in accordance with Council requirements.  Interested contractors should submit a proposal covering the requirements as set out in the Tender Proposal Submission found below.  Any enquiries should be directed to Adrian O’Leary, Manager Buildings and Marine Infrastructure on or 0427 341 298.
