MUNICIPAL RATES FOR 2009/2010
Rates for the current financial year are payable in four instalments, as follows:
(i) The first instalment on or before the 21 August 2009
(ii) The second instalment on or before the 21st November 2009
(iii) The third instalment on or before the 19th February 2010
(iv) The fourth instalment on or before the 21st May 2010

Want an economical way to pay your rates and water consumption account - why not consider a direct debit arrangement. This means of payment allows you to pay your accounts in easy weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments, directly from your nominated bank account on a date you specify. Whilst undertaking these payment arrangements Council does not charge any associated processing fee, and your rates and water consumption accounts are exempt from any interest component.
PAY BY TELEPHONE
Payment by Visa or Mastercard can be made by telephone by calling 1300 366 798 and following the prompts. You will need to have your rates notice on hand in order to quote your telephone payments number. This number is located on the top right hand corner of your notice.
AUSTRALIA POST
You can pay your rates at Australia Post outlets by producing your original rates notice.
Payment can be made in person at the Triabunna Customer Service Centre, 38 Vicary Street. Office hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Eftpos services are available.
You may also send a cheque or money order to PO Box 6, Triabunna, 7190. Please ensure that your payment will be received before the instalment date to avoid any interest that may occur.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Please ensure any change of address you experience is communicated to Council by either mail, telephone, fax or email. Council does not accept failure to receive a rates notice as a reason for non payment of rates.
