Enhancing Business Management Skills
on the Freycinet Coast
Glamorgan Spring Bay Council has been successful in obtaining funds from the Australian Government's Small Business Entrepreneurship Program initiative to assist in delivering the Enhancing Business Management Skills on the Freycinet Coast project.
This is the opportunity for you to work on your business, not just in it. You will go through the process of analysing your business, setting goals & targets, developing a Strategic Business Plan, and finally an Action Plan will help you implement the Strategic Business Plan.
We will the follow this up with one-on-one consulting/mentoring to assist the you address and improve at least one area your business.
Delivery Format
- You complete a Business Management diagnostic
- First half-day workshop
- 1 x 2 hours one-on-one mentoring
- Second half-day workshop
- 5 x 2 hours one-on-one mentoring
It is envisaged the workshops would be held in Bicheno, Coles Bay, Swansea and Orford/Triabunna regions with the workshops being held at a time and location most suitable to the participants. This project is limited to 30 participants.
Your Commitment
Business owners or managers would be asked to commit their time (2 x 3-4 hour workshops, plus 12 hours one-on-one mentoring), plus a $440 financial commitment.
